There appears to be another issue opened for it though: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk/-/issues/3631 I agree that firefox seems to somehow exacerbate the gtk issue, perhaps since one often wants to scroll to a very specific part of the page. Also, the scrolling behaviour can be very easily compared to other operating systems by opening the same webpages.
