[Bug 19524] Re: Firefox does not pay attention to GNOME DPI setting
I noticed that firefox ignores the dpi settings, because I changed it (98) and looked at the screen :)... I have a high resolution laptop lcd I tried very high dpi settings (~160) and firefox website fonts were as tiny as before (also after restarting firefox) Furthermore I tried layout.css.dpi at 0, that didn't do anything for me so I gave it a high value around 130 and after restarting firefox at least one website had big fonts but most of my bookmarks didn't. -- Firefox does not pay attention to GNOME DPI setting https://launchpad.net/bugs/19524 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 19524] Re: Firefox does not pay attention to GNOME DPI setting
layout.css.dpi=-1 -> 96 dpi minimum So you didn't need to change that. But the dpi setting only affects the fonts sized in points, not the ones in pixel. That must be the difference between the websites you are using, and there is nothing you can do about that.
