[Bug 23314] Re: PDA Device Configuration
Just to keep you updated, I did dig out my IPAQ 2215 and for some odd reason it is stuck in a reboot loop, even after a failed attempt at a soft reset and then a hard reset. Seems also that if I apply pressure at a couple of points it just resets or won't come on. It has been packed in a box since I relocated. I realize this doesn't help you much, but I wanted to let you know what is up so you aren't left hanging like when I originally started this. The good (and slightly bad) news is that I contacted HP today and while they couldn't help me with their online chat, or again on the phone. They gave me a number to call to see about getting it repaired. It is out of warranty now though so I will call tomorrow and find out the estimate of any repair costs. Hopefully it isn't astronomical. I remember that with some of their printers it was cheaper to buy a new printer then to have an old one serviced (still never figured out the logic in that) :-( At any rate I will call the repair center tomorrow and I will be sure to let you know the results. -- PDA Device Configuration https://launchpad.net/bugs/23314 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 23314] Re: PDA Device Configuration
I haven't used my IPAQ in some time but I will dig it out and give it a test in Edgy. It will probably need to be charged first though. -- PDA Device Configuration https://launchpad.net/bugs/23314 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 23314] Re: PDA Device Configuration
A new version (2.0.14) was uploaded to Edgy. It'd be nice if you had a chance to test this and report back, if the problem still persists. ** Changed in: gnome-pilot (Ubuntu) Assignee: Daniel Holbach => Ubuntu Desktop Bugs Status: Unconfirmed => Needs Info -- PDA Device Configuration https://launchpad.net/bugs/23314 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
