Public bug reported: Binary package hint: file-roller
File Roller (Archive Manager), is somehow inacessible. Ubuntu does not include, by default a shortcut in the Applicatons menu to access file- roller, leaving the end user with no easy way to create in a graphical way a zip file, or any other supported archive. I propose that this can be resolved, placing a link called Archive Manager, inApplications > Acessories menu. This can easily be done. This will give the less experiencied user archive easy creation of an archive . A shortcut when right clicked with tme mouse, and choosing, Create Document > Zip file, would also be convenient. ** Affects: file-roller (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Assignee: MOTU Stable Release Updates (motu-sru) Status: New ** Changed in: file-roller (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => MOTU Stable Release Updates (motu-sru) -- file-roller accessibility https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/248530 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to file-roller in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
