Can anyone reconfirm this on gnome-utils 2.22 or later? The code says
that the word is stripped from leading and tailing spaces.

[Bug 253195] [NEW] gnome-dictionary-applet must strip surrounding spaces from input

2008-07-30 Thread Stanislav Kogut
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-utils

If you enter someting like ' unit' or 'unit ' or ' unit ' into word input
field, most of dictionaries cannot show defintion for this word, and
unexperienced user may not understand where is a trouble. I suggest a solution
- strip leading spaces, or spaces after the word.
Thanks. )
My gnome-utils package version is 2.20.0.1-1ubuntu5.
