Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-session
Ubuntu Intrepid alpha 5, all updates installed 1. Open a maximized window, such as Firefox. 2. Choose "System" > "Log Out…" or "System" > "Shut Down…". 3. Choose "System" > "Log Out…" or "System" > "Shut Down…" again. What happens: 2. The dialog appears sometimes frontmost, sometimes in the background, depending on how recently you focused another window. 3. The dialog disappears behind the maximized window. What should happen: 2. The dialog should always appear frontmost. 3. The dialog should always appear frontmost. I'm not sure whether this is a bug in gnome-session or compiz. This bug and bug 154547 are mutually exclusive, depending on the resolution of bug 251211. ** Affects: gnome-session (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Choosing "Log Out"/"Shut Down" a second time hides the window https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/269478 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-session in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
