Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
When the hard drive partition on which the OS is located runs out of hard disk space, Nautilus bookmarks are erased. I'm using Nautilus 2.22.5.1 with Hardy Heron, Linux Kernel 2.6.24.21-generic, Gnome 2.22.3. This may not be a bug, but I'm reporting it just the same so that you all are aware of the problem and others might benefit from a workaround. I have a system backup: can anyone tell me where Nautilus bookmarks are stored on disk so I can restore them? Finally, I'm just griping, but there was no warning. I was encoding to FLAC instead of OGG by accident, and the drive filled up really quickly. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Nautilus bookmarks deleted when computer runs out of memory https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/287914 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
