Hi Pedro, Thanks for your answer and sorry for my late reply. I am completely new with this. I don't know what I did, but the problem was solved. I'm sorry I was not organised enough to keep track of what I did so that other people can make use of it. I'm definitely liking Ubuntu, so I will try to be more systematic the next time I report something. Hi. I would like to report an update. I re-installed the Medibuntu Repository that I had already installed before. That is: sudo wget http://www.medibuntu.org/sources.list.d/intrepid.list --output- document=/etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list and: sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install medibuntu-keyring sudo apt-get update I had already installed these right after installing Ubuntu, so I wonder if this changed anything or not. Then I installed for the first time this: sudo apt-get install w32codecs and this sudo apt-get install libdvdcss2 After all that, things seem to be working now :) I don't know what/if I did something wrong, so feedback from the experts will be appreciated. I also have a different question. Sorry to post it here. If this is not the right place I hope someone can guide me as for where I should post it: I have installed Ubuntu 8.1 from a CD, allocating 15 GB to it, out of the 80 that the hard drives has. Since I'm liking Ubuntu, I would like to give it more space. From what Wubi said during the installation, I know I should leave at least 5 GB free in the drive (that I'm sharing with Windows). Now my question is how do I allocate more hard drive space to Ubuntu? Is it something you can do from Ubuntu or should I uninstall everything (hope not!) and start from scratch with Wubi. Again, sorry for posting this here, But all this is new to me and I'm a little bit lost.
