[Bug 304256] Re: In File Browser: the wording of "(Empty)" is mis-leading.
I'd like an option to get rid of that "(Emtpy)" listing alltogether. i was raised on windows, and such listings are a waste of braintime, clicktime and screenspace to me. please, nautilus devs, the windows 7 win-explorer tree structure UI is a lot more time-and-human-energy saving than anything i've ever seen on any other OS, incl macOS. i'd very much appreciate it if you took a long look at it, and copy it's functionality to nautilus. -- In File Browser: the wording of "(Empty)" is mis-leading. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/304256 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

that's a tiny detail which should be send upstream to bugzilla.gnome.org since they write the software. BTW If it's not empty it doesn't display the (Empty) term but rather the file in question. ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low Assignee: (unassigned) => Ubuntu Desktop Bugs (desktop-bugs) -- In File Browser: the wording of "(Empty)" is mis-leading. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/304256 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
