I strongly disagree that it's not worth shipping an update for intrepid. Based on the discussion with Martin earlier, I don't think that there is any point opening an Intrepid task for this. Martin, Jaunty should probably be updated to the development 2.25.x series really. I can probably do that. Gnome bug 559169 affects Intrepid, and means that you can't perform power management actions from the deskbar, which is a regression. In any case it should be updated in Jaunty, which also has 2.24.1 still. For SRU I'm not convinced yet. 2.24.2 is a stable update to the 2.24 series, so it might be possible to consider it for a SRU for Intrepid. I've subscribed ubuntu-sru for their thoughts.
