This is how it always looks for me at each login, which means I have to invoke Clean Up By Name and that gets pretty annoying after a while. Not to mention the bad impression it gives. cartman is a SMB share on another computer, gamemaker.nu is a SSH connection, if that could mean anything, since one seems to be sorted alright and not the other. Titled the bug this way because I sometimes switch Desktops by symlinking ~/Desktop to new places, and each new Desktop is always completely unsorted. This is more of a wishlist type of fix, but if it could be in the same fix everything would be excellent. Something of an auto-clean right after the Desktop has loaded.
