I have the same problem. Evolution 2.26.1, Ubuntu 9.04. Just ticking
"This appointment recurs" followed by Close and Save crashes Evolution
completely. Here is the output as requested above, if you need anything
more please let me know what I need to do to get you the info. Thanks.

I can crash evolution when modifying the recurrence of an appointment.
Actually this happens not on all appointments. I have three recurrent 
appointments, 2 can be modified, 1 cannot.
The modification consists in changing the recurrence from fixed number (weekly 
for 10 times) to end date (weekly until a given date). I made several tests, 
but I could not understand the logic behind a crash.
