I don't think that the channels.conf is wrong as i did it with gnome- dvb-setup. Seems like the channel can't be tuned. Have you checked that the channels.conf has the correct format (it should if created by gnome-dvb- setup) and the channel has the correct tuning data in channels.conf. You can create a channels.conf with dvb-apps scan program which should yield the correct tuning data, but has some encoding issues with channel names. BTW you should be able to reproduce this with an up-to-date lucid installation and it's default packages. okay now i tried to use gst-rtsp-server from git, but is demanding gstreamer 0.10.28.1 which is newer then what's in lucid. so i would probably need whole gstreamer from git to test that and i don't know much about gstreamer, meaning there are possibly much things i can do wrong. i also tried gnome-dvb-daemon 0.1.16 from PPA, but same error messages. i also realized that EPG is also not working, isn't that supposed to work apart from the gst-rtsp-server? is there a way i can deliver more detailed messages from gst-rtsp-server? I can't remember comming across an issue like this, though I must admit that I use gstreamer from git most of the time. I don't think it's related to DVB-T, because gst-rtsp-server doesn't care what the source is.
