Hello, I have got the same Problem. I have Ubuntu Feisty Fawn (7.04) (german version) up to date. I created a new Calendar under "Contacts" (Kontakte). One with the name "öpöö" and one with the name "test". The I clicked on them with the right-mouse-button and selected "delete". I klicked on "Delete" (Löschen) at the confirmation-prompt. Nothing happend. The "Cancle"-Button (Abbrechen) doesn't have an affect too. I tried to delete the Calendars on other ways - but without success. Description of Problem: I am using SimplyMEMPIS 6.0beta on i386. I'm trying to delete calendars that I have set up after populating them with an .ics single file import. Does not crash, just ignores command. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Create calendar 2. Import a single file that holds .ics data into the newly created calendar. 3. After import, right click calendar and choose delete. Actual Results: Does not delete. Expected Results: Deletion of calendar. How often does this happen? All calendars. Have not been able to delete any calendar. Additional Information: I was wanting to delete a calendar because it did not import but copied the calendar above it. I used xubuntu (dapper drake 6.06 beta) three weeks ago. I tried on a very week laptop I use for school (toshibe portege 3440CT with P3). So I thought it would be good enough. The main use was for calander. I could not use evolution 2.6 which was downloded from official repositories via Synaptic. I could not delete calendars. I tried deleting calendars but it just kept ignoring me. The program did not crash or something. Also when I imported a few calanders from ics files they where repeating around a few time (according to few calendars I had previously opened). So I had 4 or 5 instances of the same calendars I was pretty upset. All my tryings to solve this problems didn't work out. I also tried it with new users I created espcially for this. The broken evolution repeated even after I reinstalled the system ! So this is probably a bug ! I will try to upgrade in the following day. Hope I will not encouter this problem again. I will appreciate if you'd report if this problem consists. So I could safly upgrade and have my calendars working. I can reproduce this bug, although with remote calendars. Yann, could you describe what you do exactly? Does it happen if you: - create a new calendar - right click on it - pick delete ? That works fine for me. I can still reproduce this bug. I created a new user on my computer to start from a fresh setup, and I was able to reproduce the bug ! I don't understand what is wrong with my setup. I cannot reproduce this bug. I created 4 local calenders, and I could create events in each of them and delete all of them. Will mark the bug as unconfirmed, please reopen if you still face this issue. ubuntu version: dapper (up to date) type of calendar: local calendar If right click on the third calendar -> select delete -> confirm the suppression -> nothing happens No error dialog and no error msg on the console output. Also if I try to create a new event and to select the third calendar, it automatically select the second calendar instead. It seems like evolution thinks the second calendar and all the following ones are the same. Thanks for your bug. Your description lack some details to be useful. What version of Ubuntu do you use? What sort of calendar did you create? How can't you delete them? Does it crash? Does it ignore your action? Does it open a dialog with some error?
