Confirmed in Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid . When highlighting symbols most of them are mismatched or appear blank. This bug appears frequently on russian pdfs. Some more example: On the attached pdf Evince adds 'e' symbol to the end of every word. Also, it adds many other symbols when the text is in =2 columns.
