This problem seems to affect only certain shortcut's. For instance, setting the shortcut for Pause *isable* one of my keys (letter- before-E key, as you might notice), but *oing so for the Log out shortcut *i* not reveal this bug. -- Setting keyboard shortcurts leads to keys not working elsewhere https://launchpad.net/bugs/40747 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 40747] Re: Setting keyboard shortcurts leads to keys not working elsewhere
I am exeriencing the same issue. I used the key just to the right of the O key, and now can't tye that letter. Clearing the hotkey from the shortcuts and rebooting restores oeration of the key. [Bug 40747] Re: Setting keyboard shortcurts leads to keys not working elsewhere
After setting my ctrl-p combo for starting and stopping music the p key did stop working, but after a reboot it works normally again, and the ctrl-p still works for controlling my music. [Bug 40747] Re: Setting keyboard shortcurts leads to keys not working elsewhere
Ok, Ie also had problems with keyboard shortcuts... I have a multimedia keyboard, and since updating to last dapper beta, not flight 7, when I press the assigned key for up volume or down volume I get on the screen the volume control going up or down, but it does not efect the actual sound card volume level. Maybe it is the same bug. -- Setting keyboard shortcurts leads to keys not working elsewhere https://launchpad.net/bugs/40747 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
