Elmo after typing gst-launch playbin uri=file:// specify the location the file and press enter so that it looks something like this. When I click play on the menu of the dvd, the movie starts immediately, but with no sound. When I select one of the VOB files of the movie, Totem plays it with sound. I will try your advice. Please guide me through this.
