[Bug 44992] Re: After installing applications on Ubuntu Dapper Beta un-affected Debian menu entries disappear
In the submission I wrote that running update-menus fixes the problem, but then during another install, the problem comes back. Bug is that I shouldn't have to run update-menus form the console every time I install applications. And menu entries of the applications I do not remove should not just disappear. All in all it is not a showstopper bug, just annoying. Besides, most people probably won't have the Debian menu installed. -- After installing applications on Ubuntu Dapper Beta un-affected Debian menu entries disappear https://launchpad.net/bugs/44992 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 44992] Re: After installing applications on Ubuntu Dapper Beta un-affected Debian menu entries disappear
The debian menu is built from menu-xdg, reassigning. Maybe you need to run update-menus to update it? ** Changed in: gnome-menus (Ubuntu) Sourcepackagename: gnome-menus => menu-xdg -- After installing applications on Ubuntu Dapper Beta un-affected Debian menu entries disappear https://launchpad.net/bugs/44992 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
