Thank you for your attention.
I'm not using Ubuntu anymore.

[Bug 452987] Re: Options bar needs two clicks on Gnome (first time only flashes).

2009-11-04 Thread Sergio
I added a new torrent to Transmission today and the flashing when
choosing the download folder happened again.

Minor issue, of course, so just saying.

[Bug 452987] Re: Options bar needs two clicks on Gnome (first time only flashes).

2009-10-22 Thread Sergio
It seems this bug has been fixed. I don't know if it was with the kernel
updates or something else (like GTK related).

To test, I opened Transmission then clicked on Add (torrent), searched
and picked a torrent file and then the preferences window for the
torrent opens, there there's an option to choose the download folder.
When clicked (either the bar or the arrow) it would flash in antiX
(distro) as well as in antiX live-cd (different kernel) but it behaved
as intended in Karmic Koala.

Now I'm using the 2.6.31-14 kernel and also updated the system (brought
272 MB of updates) after I reported the bug. I also checked the
properties>permissions window (like in the screenshot) and it's behaving
as intended (no flashing).

[Bug 452987] Re: Options bar needs two clicks on Gnome (first time only flashes).

2009-10-21 Thread Sergio
I'm using Transmission 1.75 in antiX (a Debian based Linux distribution) and it
has this bug too (if I click on the expand arrow directly, without selecting
the field first, it flashes - select the field - then only expands on the next
click). Since I don't use Gnome DE here (only IceWM window manager) I guess
this is a GTK problem.
(I'm not familiarized with this, but I imagine it's the basis upon which the
software GUI is built)

Sorry for extending this but I'm using nVidia 185.18.36 (here, as with
Karmic) and a 2.6.30-7.dmz.1-liquorix-686 kernel (which is said has some
tweaks to improve graphics like the Ubuntu kernels). I'll try later with
antiX live-cd, which has another kernel, to see if this behaviour is
present.
