Thank you for your bug report. The issue is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug the to the people writting the software (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME) ** Changed in: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: evolution (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Ubuntu Desktop Bugs (desktop-bugs) -- Default calendar not default when creating a new appointment https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/456088 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 456088] Re: Default calendar not default when creating a new appointment
Browsing upstream Bugzilla, I learned that new appointments are created by default to the currently selected calendar, or if no calendar is selected, to the default one (GNOME bug #303296). After testing, I can confirm this is the case. Concequently, the current behavior not erratic as such, but it is a little unituitive especially when the calendar view is not visible -- a common use case: you're reading email and need to add an appointment based on the email you're looking at. Upstream seems to consider this a bug instead of enhancement. -- Default calendar not default when creating a new appointment https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/456088 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
