2011-11-14 Thread Matthew Paul Thomas
The monolith dialog is no more, and there is no other dialog containing
both Lock Screen and Log Out.

[Bug 46077] Re: Swap Logout and Lock Screen to keep least intrusive on LHS.

2006-05-24 Thread Vassilis Pandis
Quickly browsing through the HIG I could not find any relevant points. I
agree that the balance of colours is nice. Having two greens side-by-
side is not right. What could be done is to swap them, and change
maybe the colour of logout. But agreed, not for Dapper.

[Bug 46077] Re: [Bug 46077] Re: Swap Logout and Lock Screen to keep least intrusive on LHS.

2006-05-23 Thread Mark Shuttleworth

Is this a HIG guideline? If not, I would reject the bug. If so, it would
be worth further consideration. Right now I like the balance of the
colours on the dialog, if we can come up with a more formal rationale
for their positions I'd be happy to take it. But unless there's a very
strong point-at-this-page-of-the-HIG argument, I'd say not to mess with
it for Dapper.

This would be nice and would help make the UI more intuitive.
