Thanks for the reply. I am marking this bug invalid and please open a new bug report for black screen for video and attach the gable debug log in that bug report so that we can send the bug report upstream to the developers of the app. To save debug file click on Help>debug and select gabble there on empathy contact list make a video call and if you get the black screen click on hang up and save the gabble log by clicking on the save button and link it to the new bug report. I'm having trouble reproducing the crash, though I now only get black screens for video feeds over empathy instead of crashes.
