Public bug reported:

I have a server and a client, both running Ubuntu 6.06. CUPS on the
server is configured to send printer configuration broadcasts for
automatic printing queue setup ("browsing"). There is one printer
configured on the server with paper size set to "A4". On the client, the
printer queue is automatically set up. However, the printer's settings
are not retrieved: the controls for paper size, paper type, source,
layout, etc. in gnome-cups-manager on the client are empty and disabled;
the default paper size in the gnome-print dialog is set to "Letter".

I wrote a little program to check whether the correct PPD file is
retrieved on the client using cupsGetPPD(). The retrieved file is
identical to the one on the server, so I guess this is an issue of
libgnomecups or gnome-print.

** Affects: libgnomecups (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Untriaged
         Status: Unconfirmed
