I never actively selected the New Wave though. *Method:*Open Appearance theme selector, click on all themes one by one and for each selected theme start F-spot. *Result:* F-spot sticks on the screen for all themes except for New Wave and /Custom/. *Conclusion:* Seems as if it is a 411941 duplicate after all. *Question:* Who kills the 515120? There are 19 user accounts altogether on these four computers and only one of them can open F-spot correctly, i.e. the administrator account on the IBM desktop (there are eight accounts on this computer). At least the admin accounts have all the default theme. Something that struck me is if can have something to do with the live CD?
