[Bug 529334] Re: totem crashed with signal 5 in _XError()

2010-02-27 Thread Erik B. Andersen
This is a video (from the first user) of the crash. When the user
switching applet is blinking focus, I was logged into the other user.
When the whole screen flashes black for a split second is when I had
finished switching back to the first user.

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: totem

- I got this error by
+ I started totem playing an ogg file. I switched to another user. (I
+ still could hear the song playing.) I switched back to the original
+ user. Totems interface froze and then totem closed.

- Playing an ogg file with totem set to Repeat Mode (so it wouldn't get to the
end of the song too soon)
- Switching to a different user.
- Switching back to the original user.
- At this point, totem's interface completely froze and disappeared after a
second. The sound also froze. Totem no longer showed up as an application
playing sound in Sound Preferences.
- And of course, apport came up.
+ To reproduce:
+ Play an ogg file with totem set to Repeat Mode (so it wouldn't get to the end
of the song too soon)
+ Switch to a different user.
+ Switch back to the original user.
+ At this point, totem's interface will completely freeze and will disappear
after a second. The sound will also freeze. Totem will no longer be listed as
an application playing sound in Sound Preferences.
