Retested this on a 64bit machine that i upgraded to 10.10 yesterday (18 okt 
2010) > so it is NOT a fresh install, and the rhythmbox version is 0.13.1
The problem remains the same : the LG KC910 shows up in rhythmbox as soon as i 
plug it in, but after a few seconds rhythmbox crashes.

I also did this test with the 8G memory card removed from the KC910 (to
make sure that there is nothing on that card that causes the problem)
but there is no difference

what else can i do to help ?


FYI : if i run rhythmbox from terminal and then plugin the KC910 i get this :
