Sorry I didn't get back to you on this, I forgot to subscribe myself! I see English and Chinese characters in the pdf you attached. There doesn't appear to be any obvious problems with it. Are you able to test if this is still a problem for you in Ubuntu 10.10 please? If you can test it and report back that would be great. I have attached a screenshot of how the pdf looks on my 10.10 system with evince. If there is anything that should be there that isn't, or if it looks wrong to you, please point it out. Looking at the attachments in this bug report, I noticed that one was flagged as a patch incorrectly. A patch contains changes to an Ubuntu package that will resolve a bug, since this was not one I've unchecked the patch flag for it. In the future keep in mind the definition of a patch.
