Thank you for replying to the comments and figuring what the issue was. Marking at rejected since that's an user config issue, not a bug. If it doesn't crash there is no backtrace to get. Figuring what configuration option does that might be useful. Do you use the option to run a custom command instead of the shell maybe? Sorry for my late reply. Could you help me tracing? The whole program doesn't crash. Just the tab closes. On my edgy (new clean install) the problem exists with the old users home dir. I have changed color settings to white on black and nothing more as i remember. Terminal works really well except the tab feature. I have changed the command that gnome terminal runs for backend to screen but the behavior didn't changed.
