Evolution hangs on my Hardy Heron (amd64) install when my exchange server is unresponsive. Apply to if you have timezone set to Europe/Moscow it just won't start after fresh install. There is bug in org-gnome-evolution-startup- wizard.eplug just change it to other timezone compete wizard and back to Europe/Moscow. This has been happening for some time now, and I run the current edgy. The message I normally get when evolution is hanging is about the CalDav plugin. Thanks for your bug. What version of Ubuntu do you use? Do you have any message if you run evolution from the command line or to .xsession- errors when that happens?
