Re: [Bug 688955] Re: Evince Starts OK But Crashes When File Opened
Well, Marcel, evince is working fine today. Perhaps a system update fixed something. I went ahead and tried xpdf again. It crashed when a file was opened with: Segmentation fault (core dumped) No apport window opened, although i would not have submitted a new bug. And when you start it from the command line, you get no error message at all but it closes immediately? Could you temporarily enable apport with sudo service apport start force_start=1 and try starting evince again – does an apport window pop up, offering to submit a bug report? If yes, please open a new bug and link it here. ** Changed in: evince (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber of the bug. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/688955 Title: Evince Starts OK But Crashes When File Opened -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evince in ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/688955 Title: Evince Starts OK But Crashes When File Opened -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
