The bug is old and Ubuntu changed quite a lot since, there has also been no activity here nor similar reports. I also get the exact same error when trying to connect to a custom webdav url eg https://servername/webdav/username/userfolder on ubuntu(and mint as well) 10.10 and 11.04. Yes, it is reproducible. Go to places- connect to server, and when its box comes up, select Custom Location for Service type. Add whatever URI in location, and click on Connect.
