I just got this segfault for the first time. I don't use evolution, I don't have any alarms. Last evening I suspended my laptop, this morning I resumed it and got a bug-buddy window. The stack trace I have looks the same as in the original report (IA__g_assert_warning about alarms != NULL) at gmessages.c:552, called from alarm_add(), called from g_timeout_dispatch. I had only libglib2.0-0-dbgsym installed. Reproducable here, version 2.8.1-0ubuntu4. here's another trace after a similar crash. I've installed the package and will wait until the next crash (unless there's an easy way to extract more info from the crash report attached).
