There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. @aimwin: Do you still have this problem? I don't have any problems with Japanese and Chinese (Mandarin Cantonese) songs. Could this only happen with songs tagged with Thai language? I will try to get my hands on Thai music. Sorry I need to open this report instead. I use UBUNTU 8.04 with full updated all suggested packages from update manager. Sorry I need to open this report instead. I use UBUNTU 8.04 with full updated all suggested packages from update manager. I used Rhythmbox 0.11.5 come with ubuntu 8.04 installation. I attach a screenshort display 4 windows. 2 on the left, Rytmbox and its Basic Tap display wrong script for Thai Fonts. 2 on the right, Details Tap and File browser (PlacesComputerCDROM ) Display correct Thai Fonts. So your program can display correct Thai script only in the Individual Song Property Window / Details Tab Please correct this, and I will try to promote your program and try to translate into Thai.
