Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-utils 1) Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat 2) 3.0.8 (software-center) 3) I expected the ability to use the graphical user interface following login. 4) The login resulted in a continuous loop of repeated login attempts and failures. I can login and use the gui in the safe mode however.
