Re: [Bug 771847] Re: [regression?] No way to enable desktop effects in classic session
compizconfig-settings-manager is installed, but metacity is still being used as window manager. However, I'm using a dedicated /home partition with settings from 10.10, so this might not be the right behaviour. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/771847 Title: [regression?] No way to enable desktop effects in classic session -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 771847] Re: [regression?] No way to enable desktop effects in classic session
Hi, As a workaround, try the following: sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager It worked for me. Though I do agree that it would be nice if this was a bit more obvious.
