Public bug reported: When I protect the screen by my personally defined hotkey, so that the screen goes black and when you move the mouse you have to enter password again, during this time JDownloader can go in the foreground. JDownloader may go into the foreground when the screen is unlocked of course, for example, to get a captcha, but not when the screen is locked. Gdm (or whatever the component ist) has to block every attempt and leave the screen black. gnome2 without unity.
