Today I could not reproduce the bug as described. First, the Inputfield-Cursor freezes again, but also when pressing ENTER/RETURN or by clicking with Mouse. CTRL+ALT+F1 did not work, but moving mouse cursor was visible. This happened about three times. Some time later I tried to boot again and this time I logged in on console (CTRL+ALT+F1) before and entered commando sleep 180 shutdown -h now, switched back to Graphic-Mode (ALT+F7). Then login worked as expected. Then the update manager announced new updates. so I did the updates.
