Just installed Release 12.04 (precise) 32-bit on Toshiba Netbook NB255.
When I plugged in my Samsung external monitor 1440x900 display. Changing
the resolution doesn't change anything. Only have clockwise or counter
clockwise option. No normal option. This also happened in the beta
version.

doing the equivalent of what comment #3 in that bug report describe
makes it work for you as well?
