Re: [Bug 683856] Re: Clicking on the far-right hand side of a maximized window does not scroll
Here's an example image: http://i.imgur.com/J5br3.png This is with elementary theme, but it happens on the default Ubuntu theme as well. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gtk+2.0 in ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/683856 Title: Clicking on the far-right hand side of a maximized window does not scroll -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
Re: [Bug 683856] Re: Clicking on the far-right hand side of a maximized window does not scroll
I assume that this is happening because of the border around the window. The border is pretty ugly (again, not present on OSX), but necessary in GTK right now because that's how window resizing is done. I'd suggest that instead, window resizing be done with an _invisible_ border (ideally with the same default radius as the shadow in Compiz) and that the rendered border be completely independent, and not present on maximized windows.
