anoncvs.gnome.org service has been disabled
Due to various old references people have unknowingly been using anoncvs.gnome.org instead of SVN. To avoid this, anoncvs.gnome.org has been removed from the DNS[1]. Note: people who still require access to anoncvs should use the following hostname: anoncvs-i-know-i-should-use-svn.gnome.org Use the scripts/changecvsroot.py from jhbuild to changing existing anoncvs checkouts. [1] Might take a few days before it is noticeable. -- Regards, Olav ___ desktop-devel-list mailing list desktop-devel-list@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/desktop-devel-list

Wouldn't it have been better to error out on those checkouts and give out the new instructions in the error message, rather than break other possible (and outdated) references? -- Bastien Nocera [EMAIL PROTECTED] ___ desktop-devel-list mailing list desktop-devel-list@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/desktop-devel-list

I do not want errors; people who still need anoncvs should be able to use it. Do you have a suggestion on how to add a warning? -- Regards, Olav ___ desktop-devel-list mailing list desktop-devel-list@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/desktop-devel-list
