anoncvs.gnome.org service has been disabled

Due to various old references people have unknowingly been using
anoncvs.gnome.org instead of SVN. To avoid this, anoncvs.gnome.org has
been removed from the DNS[1].

Note: people who still require access to anoncvs should use the
following hostname:
  anoncvs-i-know-i-should-use-svn.gnome.org
Use the scripts/changecvsroot.py from jhbuild to changing existing
anoncvs checkouts.

[1] Might take a few days before it is noticeable.

Wouldn't it have been better to error out on those checkouts and give
out the new instructions in the error message, rather than break other
possible (and outdated) references?

I do not want errors; people who still need anoncvs should be able to
use it. Do you have a suggestion on how to add a warning?
