Re: gtk-doc doesn't handle multiple title tags

 Hello,

I have gtk-doc documentation with an SGML structure like this:

 refsect1
   titleblah/title

   titlebla bla/title
   para.../para
 /refsect1
this is not valid docbook. use refsect2 elements inside the refsect1 where each
of them can have a title.

Stefan

This used to generate HTML like this:

 h2blah/h2
 p.../p
 h2bla bla/h2
 p.../p

But gtk-doc doesn't seem to do that anymore. It only generates a h2
tag for the first title tag and suppresses the other title tags
which makes me sad. Is it a bug in gtk-doc or something?

That was a bug in gtk-doc. See
 http://www.docbook.org/tdg/en/html/refsect1.html, a refsect1 can only
have a single title. What you want is a refsect1 with multiple child
 sections.

Thanks for the quick reply!

Shouldn't gtk-doc complain about it then or something? Sorry for being
grumpy, but I don't enjoy having to rewrite my docs to cope with
bugfixes in gtk-doc... Anyway, now I get hr tags between my
refsect2-sections which I didn't ask for. How do I get rid of
those?

Prototyping the next generation panel?

2008-10-27 Thread Johannes Schmid
Hi!

So after I finally got to read
http://live.gnome.org/Boston2008/GUIHackfest/WindowManagementAndMore and
vuntz blogpost I was wondering if there is already a place where the
prototyping of the new panel is happening. I guess quite some people
would be interested. (And I would also love if we would use some faster
prototyping language then C and if we intend to use clutter or
whatever...)

Thanks and regards,
Johannes

There's gimmie. And it's successor mayanna.

http://linux.softpedia.com/get/Desktop-Environment/Tools/MAYANNA-36679.shtml

And there's the bigboard. something like google-sidebar on windows.

Perhaps there's more.
