New developer

2014-01-26 Thread Suyash Singh
Hello. I am a new developer with some experience in python and linux. I
want to be a contributor to GNOME. I wanted to know from where should I
start or If I could get some bugs assigned. Anything would be helpful.

Hi Christophe,

I'd be willing to help for the first three talks as well as your opening
speech. That's how I waste my new-found freedom to not have to present @
FOSDEM myself this year.

ciao Michael

How can I remap the shortcuts for scroll down/up one line in Gnome-Terminal

2014-01-26 Thread Marslo Jiao
Hi,

I'd like remap ALT+J/K instead of CTRL+SHIFT+UP/DOWN to scroll down one
line in Gnome-Terminal.

What should I do?
Thanks in advanced.

Br, Marslo

Hi,

The GNOME Love[1] wiki page describes how to get started, including how
to find bugs suitable for people unfamiliar with codebase. It might be
the best place to start.

Best regards

Maciej already mentioned how to get started. If you want someone to
help you find a particular project to work on, you'll have to tell us
a bit about your interests and/or background.

it would be of great help to you, if you have an idea that you are going to
implement.
