[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1967485] [NEW] LibreOffice Writer gets stuck

2022-04-01 Thread Amnon Yekutieli
Public bug reported:

When editing an odt file (in English & Hebrew) the program often stalls
(becomes unresponsive).

This is a new bug -- only since a few weeks ago. For years before all
was fine.

Sometimes the stall is only for a couple of minutes, and then resumes
(like right now).

At other times I can't even kill it from the system monitor, and must
reboot the computer.

ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 21.10

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1965666] Re: firefox crashed, unable even to quit

2022-03-21 Thread Amnon Yekutieli
I just checke. It says "No crash reports have been submitted."

I must say this is a rare event (this crash), but of course it might be
due to a new bug. Will update if it happens once more.

Status in simple-scan package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

When starting simple scan it does "search for scanners" for about 30 seconds,
until "ready to scan".

Previously (forgot when that was, but same hardware) it was almost

Seems to be some software bug.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1921794] Re: connection to scanner very slow

2021-04-01 Thread Amnon Yekutieli
I did as requested. The konsole output is attached as simple-scan-output.txt.
(also the scan as pdf).
Not all output was saved - the konsole seems to retain only a certain amount of
text.
