Bug description:
  The gsettings com.canonical.Unity.Lenses remote-content-search has
only two valid values: 'none' and 'all'.

Please replace this with a binary setting instead as this is easier
for tweak tools to implement and makes more sense for someone working
  with dconf-editor/gsettings manually.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1077621] [NEW] Privacy settings in gnome-control-center should be password protected

2012-11-11 Thread Barneedhar
Public bug reported:

Currently, the privacy settings are not secured properly and allows
driveby users to get a glimpse of the user's privacy settings.

To make my point, if someone manages to view the list of folders that a
user doesn't want Zeitgeist to log, he would be able to find the exact
folders that the user does not want others to get an easy access.

Hence, I suggest the privacy settings are locked by default similar to
how the User Accounts work and the settings are only accessible if the
user inputs the password. This would provide added security to the
user's privacy settings.

ProblemType: Bug

I already have gnome-menus installed but I still have a white indicator-
message, indicator-sound and indicator-network. But, switching to
Adwaita and switching back to Ambiance fixes the issue momentarily.
Logging out and back in gives me the white indicators again.
