[Desktop-packages] [Bug 876558]

2013-03-12 Thread Bgran05
Verified that Ctrl-F closes the find dialog and leaves user in the last
find location in LibreOffice Version 4.1.0.0.alpha0+ (Build ID:
995494ec27a5815f8d85974c1ba525f4b4b4250). Tested in Writer and Calc.

Title:
  [Upstream] Libreoffice Find window invisible

Status in LibreOffice Productivity Suite:
  Fix Released
Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
Since upgrading to oneiric, whenever I press Ctrl-F or click on Edit
  - Find in LibreOffice, no dialogue window appears, yet I can still
enter a search term (without any visual feedback) and press Enter and
LibreOffice will find the first instance of the word. Strangely, Find
and Replace still brings up the window. Only simple Find doesn't
work correctly. I thought this was a problem with Unity's compositing,
but then I tried LibreOffice under 2d Gnome and have the same problem
  consistently.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 789542]

2013-02-24 Thread Bgran05
I have confirmed that the table borders now show up using LibreOffice
4.0. I am closing this as WORKSFORME. Another user has also confirmed
the table border visibility.

Title:
[Upstream] Writer converting .docx to .odt causes table cell border
  style to become none

Status in LibreOffice Productivity Suite:
  Invalid
Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: libreoffice

  1) lsb_release -rd
  Description: Ubuntu 11.04
  Release: 11.04

  2) apt-cache policy libreoffice-writer
  libreoffice-writer:
Installed: 1:3.3.2-1ubuntu5
Candidate: 1:3.3.2-1ubuntu5
Version table:
   *** 1:3.3.2-1ubuntu5 0

   1:3.3.2-1ubuntu4 0
  500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty/main i386 Packages

  3) What is expected to happen in LibreOffice Writer via the Terminal:

  cd ~/Desktop wget

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/789542/+attachment/2145810/+files/Bewertungsbogen%20Arbeitnehmer.docx
unoconv --listener unoconv -f odt Bewertungsbogen\
  Arbeitnehmer.docx lowriter -nologo Bewertungsbogen\
  Arbeitnehmer.docx Bewertungsbogen\ Arbeitnehmer.odt

The table on page 1's border should remain as displayed in the docx.

  4) What happens instead is the border size remains the same but the
cell is split in half vertically, with the left half containing the
text with the cell border having a black outline, and the right half
having no content or black cell border.
