The process does not stop when command is given to end the process. The network drive is mounted via gvfs. This problem was reported to be solved in 4.0.2-RC2 Still open after ending the process: soffice.bin oosplash oosplash can be killed. killing the soffice.bin process ends up with zombie. Then only logout helps (fortunately reboot is not needed).
