[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1576864] Re: Unable to extend to second display

2017-05-07 Thread Cgiraud
Christopher,
My 2017-04-30 report was from standard UbuntuStudio live distro 17.04. Sorry
for xdiagnose missing.
Since 2017-04-30, I bought a new graphic card Radeon HD 7450 that works fine
with UbuntuStudio 17.04 and upgrade to this new version (and got new Kdenlive
version that works quite well!).
I've just installed xdiagnose and I'll move out this new graphic card to apport
new data as soon as possible.

This bug still alive within Linux version 4.10.0-19-lowlatency (booting

(see apport information just before this post).

Quite annoying because AMD proprietary driver unavailable for new
kernels.

Status moved from Expired to New.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 106737]

2014-06-15 Thread Cgiraud
Still an issue in TB 24.5.0, Linux x86_84.
Walk around: to rename abc to Abc, first rename abc to xxx and then
xxx to Abc.

Folder to be renamed should be excluded from existing folder list when
comparing with new name.

Renaming folder to same name but different case not allowed

Status in Mozilla Thunderbird Mail and News:
  In Progress
Status in “thunderbird” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: mozilla-thunderbird

In 1.5.0.10, renaming the folder foo to foO, fOo or Foo isn't
allowed; the OK button isn't clickable upon typing the new name.
However, this can be worked around by renaming the folder foo to
bar first, and then renaming bar to foO.
