[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1070344] Re: consolidate webapps and online accounts icons
This is where I'm at wrt to this bug: - Moving the icons out of account-plugins and into unity-asset-pool is straight forward. - Moving the icons out of webapps-applications is not so trivial. - There are configure scripts and Makefiles in the webapps-applications source that depend on the icons being present. - Which icons to include in the binary package are conditional. At this point, it's not clear to me how to handle moving the icons out of webapps-applications. I just need some guidance from the package maintainer(s) on how they think best to handle this. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to account-plugins in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1070344 Title: consolidate webapps and online accounts icons Status in “account-plugins” package in Ubuntu: In Progress Status in “unity-asset-pool” package in Ubuntu: In Progress Status in “webapps-applications” package in Ubuntu: In Progress Bug description: We should consolidate icons for webapps and webaccounts into unity- asset-pool. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1103680] Re: [sna] Hard hang when logging in
I've attached the Xorg.0.log.old for you viewing pleasure:) I also tried the latest mainline kernel as you suggested and still get the hang. Instead of reverting the package, I modified that Xorg.conf file you provided earlier and changed AccelMethod sna to uxa and of course it works now. One other thing that occurred to me in. This machine is a pre- production version of a Dell Inspiron N5110 which is "borrowed" from PES. The BIOS is a pre-production BIOS and I have no way to upgrade it to the A Rev production BIOS. I wonder if that is playing into this since no one else seems to be affected by this (yet). ** Attachment added: "Xorg.0.log.old" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/1103680/+attachment/3500081/+files/Xorg.0.log.old ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1103680 Title: [sna] Hard hang when logging in Status in “xserver-xorg-video-intel” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: *This bug is actually for version 2.20.19-0ubuntu1.* I had to revert the package to 2.20.18-0ubuntu1 in order to get a desktop and not lock the system. Public bug reported: *This bug is actually for version 2.20.19-0ubuntu1.* I had to revert the package to 2.20.18-0ubuntu1 in order to get a desktop and not lock the system. When logging in through lightdm, the machine would hang hard before getting to the desktop. I could not diagnose what the issue may be because of the hard hang.
