[Desktop-packages] [Bug 792085] Re: Automatic remount of safely removed drive

2014-10-03 Thread DjBacon
Still having this problem with one externam HDD (USB). I have 3 of them and two
flash drives. All of them unmounts correctly, but one HDD automatically
re-mounts back. So i'm forced to just unplug it. :(
Interesting thing is that i have this problem with same HDD on other Ubuntu
pcs. 12.04 and 14.04. So this must be something with the HDD, but what?!

Automatic remount of safely removed drive

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: nautilus

When I choose "Safely remove drive" context menu entry for an external
USB drive within a nautilus window or directly clicking on the desktop
icon, after about 10 seconds the drive is automatically remounted and
a Nautilus window showing the root folder opens.

I have noticed that similar already happened with a very old Ubuntu
version - Bug #110589 and as that is so long time ago I thought it is
better to open a new bug. Reason of the problem might even be
  completely different.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1055405] Re: akonadi-backend-mysql depends on a specific MySQL version, preventing me from installing Percona server

2013-01-24 Thread DjBacon
I have very similar problem.
I have ubuntu 12.10 and installed Percona server. Then i tried to instsall
kubundu-desktop and i got error that akonadi-server depends on
mysql-server-core whitch cannot be installed. So i have left hanging with
incomplete kubuntu. Is there anyway to force akonadi-server to use sqlite as
dependency and mysql as suggested? Or can i somehow "tell" akonadi-server
package that it can use percone mysql version?

Percona replaces 'mysql-server' package but not 'mysql-server-
  core-5.5'. I can't install them both. Also, I can't use 'akonadi-
backent-sqlite' because 'akonadi-server' depends on it.
