[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1407928] Re: [phone] Does not auto-switch to available, known WiFi
I sporadically experience the same thing here. OTA-6 mako Going from one building to another at work and driving from work to home the phone often says it is still connected to the old network which is no longer in range. Turning the wifi on and off fixes it. To be clear this is sporadic, sometimes it works fine. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to network-manager in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1407928 Title: [phone] Does not auto-switch to available, known WiFi Status in Canonical System Image: Incomplete Status in indicator-network package in Ubuntu: Invalid Status in network-manager package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: This might not be the place for this bug, please reassign as appropriate. I was only able to reproduce this on mako/rtm, krillin/vivid seems to behave better (but I do remember the same issue there). Steps: * connect to a password-protected WiFi network * go out of range * make sure a GSM connection is established * go back in the WiFi range Expected: * phone connects to the known WiFi automatically Current: * phone does not connect to WiFi Please find attached network-test-session logs from when I toggled WiFi and Plane mode to get some data on the issue. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1068662] Re: webapps are not working :(
Not sure how to tell if all these issues are related or not. I also upgraded from 12.04 to 12.10. I have found sporadic offers to install webapps. For instance the google docs webapp did not ask to be installed until after at least two days of using it regularly (both with a gmail account and a google apps account with different domain). I have also found that the webapps do not show up in alt + tab unless they are tabs in firefox this effectively makes them useless because there is no way to switchbetween them with alt + tab. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to unity-chromium-extension in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1068662 Title: webapps are not working :( Status in Chromium extension: Unity Integration: Confirmed Status in “unity-chromium-extension” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in “webapps-applications” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: After upgrading my 12.04 to 12.10 - web apps do not work out of the box (I had to install the chromium extension myself). [Desktop-packages] [Bug 734428] Re: [Upstream] Wrong automatic text color "dark grey" with black background
I just arrived here from Bug #886438 which I think has been incorrectly marked a duplicate. Bug#886438 is about the default text color in libreoffice being grey instead of black This Bug#734428 appears to be about the same gray text not changing to white when the background is black.
